When do you fight spamton

In Deltarune Chapter 2, Spamton appears during the Cyber World story. The optional secret boss battle against Spamton NEO is reached through a series of side quests and hidden interactions.

Game context

The fight is optional and requires exploring the chapter’s alternate route and returning to Spamton. Details differ from the standard story path, so save before attempting optional content.

Mechanics and story

Spamton NEO is tied to Deltarune Chapter 2’s optional side content, rather than the required final sequence of the normal route. Players need to explore the Cyber World and complete the relevant interactions. Save progress before the encounter because its challenge and route conditions can surprise players.

Version-specific notes

Spamton NEO is an optional challenge, not a required boss for every Chapter 2 player. The route involves a hidden chain of tasks and a return to a prior location. If the quest is missed, the standard chapter still progresses; the encounter is extra content.
